Don’t let the ‘Darkness’ get to you with its beastly sub-heavy wobbles and spooky vocals. Think Hitchcock meets a synthesizer for the first time. With its constant eerie yet jazzy horn section and subtle shakker flow you are taken for a ride into the dark tunnels of the underground with the promise of escape within arms reach.
The word classic comes to mind with the final track ‘Like I Do’. Punchy jungle chopped break and soft yet penetrating pads. All brought together by the MC vox that build to a crescendo then release with that 90’s female vocal flavour that Noodles Groove Chronicles & Dubchild are known for.
